[The] past not only haunts the present but is alive in the thickness of the here and now ... the ‘now’ is shot through with ‘then’.

Karen Barad "Troubling Time/s"
Karen Barad has had a significant influence in my work as a scholar, writer, and teacher and my digital portfolio is "shot through" with pasts that continue to matter -- a fluid record of my becoming. The complexity of entanglement within relational context inherent to Barad's theory resonates with my personal perspective and goal to experience connection with people and places, with issues and ideas. As an example, the categories below (with information from my curriculum vitae) are selectively enhanced with links to audio, video, and/or documents in an attempt to demonstrate how the "past . . . is alive in the thickness of the here and now." Similarly, my flipbook series (Beyond The Page) and Blog (Hauntologies: Ghostly Writing and Space-Time-Mattering) epitomize Barad's methodology of diffraction.
